How to purchase
To successfully purchase from, you need to go through 5 steps.


  1. Find the product or products you wish to buy and add them to your shopping basket, then go to the check out
  2. Enter your personal data 
  3. Choose delivery/payment method 
  4. Accept our terms and conditions
  5. Make sure that all information is correct and that all boxes marked with a * are filled out, then confirm the order
  6. If you have chosen to pay by credit card or paypal, then enter your card information in the form or make a wire transfer via your bank to our account number provided at the top of this page. 

Payment receive payments through bank transfers, Credit Card, Paypal and the following kinds of Credit cards:
Dankort, Visa, Visa Elektron, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB. When using credit card tranfers, the money will be deducted from your account when the product is shipped. Products ordered before 16.00 are usually shipped within 1-2 business days, but reservations are made for exceptions caused by extra bustle in the shop, sold-out products, or in relation to holidays. Normal credit card fee is charged when paying with credit cards at, the precise amount will be shown next to the specific payment method when checking out.

The money will be deducted from your card when the products are shipped from There will never be deducted a larger amount than the one you have approved of when making your purchase.

Bank transfer
When using bank transfers, the product is shipped when the payment has gone through to our account, and when the transaction is registered. The payment deadline is within 7 days, after which the order will be canceled. Remember to write your order number and name when using bank transfers. (NB! When using bank transfers, you are not protected by the labeling scheme.) No fee is charged when paying via bank transfer.

Taxes, Denmark - EU and International destinations
All products in the store include 25% Danish VAT as default. All products sold in Denmark to individuals in Denmark are automatically charged with the Danish 25% VAT. The prices are current prices. 

When buying from EU countries the danish Tax is removed only for companies that can provide a valid Company name and Tax/Vat number to the order. Remember to choose the "Firma" check field on check out.

When buyng from non-EU countries as private person or as a company the danish Tax is automatically removed completely from the total amount right after selecting your country on the check-out page.

Please note that you bear the responsibility of declaring the product in your own country if you are purchasing from a country outside Europe, or if you are purchasing as a company.


The web shop offers the same quantity discounts for all customers, B2B as well as B2C.
We currently offer the following webshop volume discounts, (price is before postage)

B2B/business account-login
If you are a TAX-registered business or shop in your home country, then you can apply to become a business-to-business customer with B2B discount.
The discount for B2B customers at is curently offered as a 10% lower-price-discount on all products, regardless of amount and quantity.

B2B customers outside Denmark are furthermore automatically freed from the Danish TAX (25%) on chek-out from the webshop (all prices are by default shown inclusive TAX).

Please Note that the B2B discount is not automatically applied by online user registration, nor given retroactively, so contact us before you start shopping to get your account upgraded to B2B status.

Please also note that business customers are not allowed to use discount codes to obtain discounts beyond the above mentioned.

Postage and shipping fees
Postage is calculated based on the collective weight and volume of the order.
Postage is conferred during check out, and you have the opportunity to see how much your order weighs as well as how much you need to pay for shipping before you pay, this is available when you choose method of payment.
Postage is conferred according to current prices from Postnorden (the national postal service of Denmark), and is calculated based on the total collective weight (additionally see however minimum charge is 3 € which covers both expedition fees, packaging and postage.
We evaluate individually whether or not an order is shipped as a letter or as a package with trackingnumber.
We don't require special surcharge, but all shipments are based on the Maxi-letter table, which can result with your order not necessarily having the exact same postage fee as the one you have payed for.
Overseas shipments, incl. the Faroe Islands and Greenland are shipped according to current tariffs. You can always see your postage on the payment pages before you confirm your final order.


Card security encrypts all your personal card information with the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that unauthorised persons, Smyks included, cannot access your card number or other information during the transaction with PBS.

Smyks normally ships orders to all over the world.
Orders are shipped normally within 2 business days, delivery time to destination in the EU and Europe is normally 2-4 days, For the US 3-14 days, other destinations 4-14 days 
Smyks makes sure that packages delivered by Post Danmark (unless otherwise stated) reach the recipient as quickly as possible. Timely delivery requires that PostNorden complies with their day-to-day delivery goals. If delays occur with PostNorden, this will delay the delivery time compared to the wanted date of delivery as well. The PostNorden goals concerning timely delivery and the state of packages are on a minimum of 92% for letters and 95% for packages. Please note that these percentages are averages, and cover a big span of local and time restricting variations. / cannot be held responsible for delays from PostNorden. In case of much delay (several days) or an outright missing delivery, please contact When dealing with a missing delivery, further delay must be expected, as the delivery needs to be searched for by PostNorden. Even so, this problem can be totally avoided if the method of delivery "insured package with tracking number" is chosen during check out. This means that we immediately send you new products in case the package is not delivered.
If we haven't received a notice from the customer concerning an absent delivery within 14 days after sending an email confirming our shipment of the order, the order is assumed delivered.
*When buying a larger amount of a products, delivery can depend on stock and how long it takes to restock it. Optionally, call in advance if the order is pressing.


Return policy 
We have a 14-day return policy on our products*, which begins the day they are received. If the order is delivered in several turns, the cooling-off period is valid from the day you receive the last item. If you choose to withdraw an order, you just need to return the products in the same condition and quantity you received them in. The right of withdrawal ceases if you use the product in a way that compromises the sales value of the product considerably. When the product has been returned and confirmed, the aqcuisition price is refunded to your account within 7 business days. The buyer is responsible for the returning costs.
* During the Christmas period, the right of withdrawal is extended so that products purchased after 15/11 can be returned up until the 2nd week of January.
Products purchased in the physical stores are covered by the 14-day return policy as well. Money cannot be refunded, but a voucher can be issued.
Clearance sale items and other discounted items cannot be returned in the physical stores.
Cut pieces of thread, wire, chain and cord under the length of 1.5 meter can not be returned/refunded.

If you wish to withdraw your purchase, it isn't enough to reject the package. You need to fill out the formula down below or, in another unambiguous way, inform Smyks about your wish to withdraw your purchase. You will soon after receive a receipt.

When returning an item we recommend that you repackage the prodcut carefully and thoroughly, as you hold responsibility for the goods until we receive them. For this purpose, hold on to your dispatching confirmation receipt.  You, yourself, is responsible for returning expenses. Please enclose information about the original ordernumber and your contact details for our reference when returning goods.

NB! We do not accept COD shipments.

Withing 14 days after Smyks has received your returned goods, you will be refunded the acquisition amount. We will refund you with the same method of payment as the one you used when ordering, unless you explicitly state otherwise. If initially paying the order by wire transfer please inform us your account number for returning the amount to you. We do normally not cover your return expenses.

Smyks can withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods, or have received documentation that you have returned the items. You are only liable for the deterioration of the product's value caused by unnecessary handling, one excessive to what is needed to determine the kind, features and functions of the product. If you use the product, or if the product is damaged during shipment, you are liable for its deterioration.

If you wish to file a complaint concerning your order, you can rightly contact Smyks. In case we aren't able to find a solution, you can file a complaint to the Consumer Complaints Board if the necessary conditions are met, see

Warranty provides a 2-year warranty, covering fabrication and material defects which are determined when using the product for its intended purpose. The warranty does not cover faults, damages or wear caused directly or indirectly by wrong handling, poor maintenance, violence or unauthorised changes. Reports about errors and flaws, discoverable when examined normally should be filed within a reasonable period of time. The product can subsequently be returned for reparation, replacing or refunding. Postage fees when returning a defect product is refunded by, contact us to receive new products as well as a stamped return envelope for the defect products.

Notice! We do not accept COD shipments or anything of the sort.
Remember that the product should always be returned in proper packagning, and make sure to get a dispatchment confirmation receipt so that we may refund your shipping costs.

We send a mail when a customer withdraws or reports
If you have sent in a product for withdrawal or for reporting a flaw, you will usually receive a mail within four days after we have received the product. In the mail you will get information on the following process of treating your withdrawal or report, or you will get a receipt on a refund. If you have payed for your order with credit card or Paypal, your will be refunded automatically to said credit card or the Paypal account. If you have payed with a bank transfer, you will be asked to send forth your account information, after which you will receive the refund.

Privacy policy
No personal information registered at will ever be given, sold or made available to a third party. All information is stored safely, and is only accessible to's most trusted personnel.
When it comes to e.g. electronic payment, a safe encrypted method is used through Webshopsystemet which is an authorised provider, and approved of by the Danish E-trade organisation E-mærket as well as Trust E-Commerce Europe.

The shop system makes use of cookies to control the contents of the Shopping Basket. A cookie is just the term for a file saved onto your own PC. Furthermore, it is possible to ask the system to save your address infomation for future purchases. If you wish to delete this information later on, is this possible through the browser settings. In Internet Explorer, this happens through the menu "Functions" and the menusetting "Internet settings."

While working with an order, we ask for a name, address, telephone number and email address. These informations are solely used when processing the order. The information is transmitted and stored electronically and unencrypted, and are saved for 3 years. The "contract" itself (the purchase agreement) is not stored at in a way that allows you to log on at a later time and see/change informations.

Furthermore we register the IP-address from where possible purchases are made. The information are usually never used, but can be used in e.g. a police investigation.
