DIY Rose Gold Earrings

Rose gold is the hottest new spring trend

It gives a beautifully feminine look and pairs exceptionally well with other metals.

DIY Earstuds with rose gold-plated stars

Here, we have used star-shaped earstuds  in rose gold together with oxidised sterling silver coins (12 mm). We have simply passed the peg of the ear stud through the hole in the coin. The coin is not glued to the ear stud, making it easy to swap it out and create a completely different look.

DIY Three-colour stud earrings

For these earstuds, we have used earstuds with round brushed coins (4 mm) in rose gold. Start by adding an oxidised sterling silver coin (8 mm), followed by a gold-plated coin (15 mm) . These coins are not glued onto the ear stud and can be switched out easily.

Rose gold-plated hoops with oxidised coins

These hoop earrings are super easy to make. We used 18mm rose gold-plated hoop earrings, and added oxidised sterling silver coins (6 mm) as decoration. You can always change the decorations of your earrings, use for example enamel coins instead.

DIY Earrings with chain

For the gold-plated silver earthreads with the brushed rings, we used gold-plated sterlings silver earthreads (12 cm) with peg and eye and 2 gilded and brushed sterling silver rings (25 mm). Carefully cut open the eye on the ear thread, add the ring, and then close the eye again.

To make the rose gold earrings with the oxidised chain, we used rose gold-plated earwires, oxidised silver earthreads (10 cm) with eyes, as well as two oxidised sterling silver coins (6 mm). Add the coins to your earwires, and then thread the earwires through the eye of the earthread.
