With just a press of the ignition button, the tip heats up almost instantly, reaching temperatures of up to 700°F / 371°C within seconds. It also cools down quickly after use, making it both efficient and practical.
This tool features a protective clear cap that helps secure the button and shields the fine tip. The ultra-thin filament tip allows for precise work, making it perfect for trimming and sealing even the finest threads and knots. The tip is replaceable (sold separately), extending the lifespan of the tool. The cordless design runs on a single AA (1.5V) battery. To insert the battery, simply unscrew the bottom cover, place the battery with the positive (+) end facing in, and screw the cover back on.
When activated, the heated tip can cut, melt, and seal thread in one step. To use the tool, press and hold the side button to heat the tip. A small amount of smoke may appear, indicating that it’s ready. While holding the button, gently touch the tip to the thread where you want to trim or seal it. After use, allow the thread to cool for a few seconds before touching nearby beads. Always replace the protective cap after use.
Important safety information
Never store the tool without the cap in place. The tip becomes extremely hot during use, so keep it away from children, skin, and flammable materials. Always cover the tip when not in use. This tool is not suitable for children under 15 years.
The pen-like design ensures a comfortable grip and precise control, similar to holding a marker. It is ideal for techniques such as kumihimo, macramé, and Chinese knotting.
