Our DIY jewelry kits with instructions to get you started

When you order one of our DIY jewelry kits with beads, you'll always receive instructions that make it easy to make the jewelry you see in the pictures. Of course, you'll also get everything you need in the box, including beads, jewelry parts, thread, etc. You only need to provide your own jewelry tools if you need them to make the jewelry. You don't always need tools - you can read more about this on the individual jewelry kits.

Our self-made DIY jewelry starter kits are put together by our in-house designer, who has also carefully selected the color combinations. Simply choose the combination of colors you like best and you'll soon be ready to make a new set of your favorite jewelry.

 

How to finish a bracelet with an elasticated cord

Finishing a beaded bracelet on a silicone elasticated cord can be a little tricky, as the smooth elastic often unravels on its own after a short time. The solution is to make several tight knots, preferably 3-4 knots or simply a double raw ribbon knot. Many people supplement the knot with a small dab of super glue to make it hold extra well, we recommend our jewellery glue Loctite Gel for this purpose. 
We recommend using silicone elastic cord with a thickness of 0.6 mm or higher, depending on the hole size of your beads. Once the bracelet is filled with beads, finish by pulling tightly on both ends until the bracelet becomes slightly stiff. Don't worry about the rubber band breaking, it can take it. Get someone you know to put a finger on the string while you tie the knot. You can see how we do it in this video guide for elastic bracelets.
