Summer means beautifully tanned feet – the perfect time to decorate your ankles. Choose a simple chain, or create a colourful anklet with Delica beads and finish it with a small tassel.
DIY Ankle chains with charms
Here you see examples with different kinds of chain:
Ball chain, faceted, 1,2mm, sterling silver
Extra fine cable chain with cubes, sterling silver
Cable chain, small links, gilded sterling silver
Cable chain, twisted, gilded brass
The pendants are fastened with 3mm jumprings.
DIY Ankle bracelets with conch shells and charms
Here we show you ankle bracelets with seed beads, conch shells and pendants.
For the ankle chain with the crystal embellished hamsa amulet we used nylon cord with a thickmess of 0.9mm. We closed the bracelet with a makramé slide knot.
The ankle chain with the little blue hamsa amulet (sold out, but can be replaced with another charm) was made with elastic cord and seed beads.
The last ankle bracelet is made of cable chain. The conch shells are fastened with 7mm jumprings.
DIY Anklets with suede cord and wooden beads
For this ankle bracelet we used suede cord, diverse wooden beads and lava beads. We finished the bracelet by attaching a clasp set with chain extender.
Ankle Bracelets with Delica Beads
These anklets are made in the same way as our Delica bracelets. They simply need to be a little longer to fit comfortably around the ankle.
Gold-Plated Chain Anklets
Here we show you a few examples of very simple anklets, both with and without charms.
We have used the following DIY materials:
1. Faceted 1.2mm gilded sterling silver ball chain
2. Heart cable chain in gilded silver, 9mm lobster claw clasp and gilded 3mm + 4mm jumprings
3. Faceted 1.8mm gilded sterling silver ball chain
4. Gilded silver AR40 Figaro chain, 9mm lobster claw clasp, gilded 3mm + 4mm jumprings and a 6mm gilded coin.
5. AR30 doublé gilded cable chain, 9mm lobster claw clasp and gilded 3mm + 4mm jumprings.
(We have used these following charms: oval plate, four-leaf clover, leaf, swallow, cross) The swallow is sold out but can be replaced with this hummingbird.
