Necklace with Pink Ceramic Conches

We used the following DIY components to make this necklace:

16 ceramic conch shells

approx. 80cm satin cord, 1.5mm, dark golden

2 cord ends, 5/4 mm, gold-plated sterling silver

1 lobster claw clasp, gold-plated sterling silver

2 jumprings, 5mm, gold-plated sterling silver

1 chain extender, gold-plated sterling silver

+ jewellery glue

String the ceramic conches on the cord - one at a time - and tie a knot after each conch bead. Finish by tying 3 knots closely together. Add a little glue to the knots to prevent them from coming undone.

Cut off the excess cord... ... and glue the cord ends on. Do the same at the other end of the necklace.

Fasten the lobster claw clasp and the chain extender with a jumpring each.

Earring with Light Blue Ceramic Conch

We used the following DIY components to make this earring:

Earwires with 4 balls, gold-plated sterling silver

Ceramic conch shell, light blue

+ Jewellery tools

You start by opening the eye of the eyepin ... then you insert the pendant ... and close the eye again. String the ceramic bead on the eyepin. For our example, we added 3mm bead on each side of the ceramic conch. After that, you form a loop with windings.
