DIY | Bracelets with wavy leather cord

Fall is in full motion, and with it, the new wave-shaped leather cords, which we have just acquired. What’s more, they can be yours in 5 different fall-inspired colors.

Here, we show you how these wave-shaped leather cords can be utilized as bracelets, annointed with various beads and charms and, in one case, a watch.

The watch-bracelets in particular, have been met with much praise. The bracelets and the watch-bracelet all use magnetic clasp locks.

For this bracelet, the following materials were used:

ca. 39cm. wave-shaped flat leather cord, dark green
1 pc. gilded magnetic clasp, matte
11 pc. gilded brass ring, twisted
+ adhesive

You cut the leather from the length which you see fit, fasten the desired beads and charms and glue both of the leather’s ends, into the sockets of the magnetic clasp. Apply a thin layer of the adhesive along the inner walls of the clasp’s sockets and carefully press the cord and the clasp component together, as to disperse the adhesive evenly throughout. If you choose the simple magnetic clasp with a cap, remember to seperate the clasp’s components before applying the adhesive and the cords, otherwise you run the risk of glueing the whole locking mechanism together.

This procedure is applied in all of the bracelets and the watch-bracelet.
